To simulate this level of bonding for robotic companions and/or assistants we must specifically program the robot to catch clues from the specific human’s behavior and build upon those. But first we need an initial bonding event that triggers chemical reactions in the brain, which are as strong as those early memories. I propose using a picture of a person’s mother in a family photo, which depicts a pre-memory time period, the photo would contain the subject and the mother. Such a photo would provide an imprinted memory to work with, one which could be simulated with the robot. The robot would replicate the mother’s position in the file photo whether sitting or standing. This would cause the human subject to move to put themselves in the scene in their mind thru a false memory and thus move closer to the robot while their chemicals in their brains recorded over the old memory. A robotic android of the opposite sex may also be a worthy idea to increase bonding as small amounts of casual flirting may add to the chemical bonding of the brain.

However, they will have to face vehement opposition from homeowner groups about traffic problems and the effects of even more buildings, cars and people. By adding more commercial real estate and increasing the traffic it will create an even worse situation in Northern Virginia. One resident of McLean, Virginia commented on the proposed plan and said “We’d like to be able to drive from McLean to Vienna in less than a day!”
The plan would add some community aspects to the Tyson’s area including an outdoor ice skating rink. Currently there is no place to sit outside, only commercial office buildings.
The second obstacle is that only about a third of the project can be built before funding for the $1.5 billion Metro rail expansion from West Falls Church through Tyson’s Corner is approved. Members of the community are invited to attend the planning commissions meetings.

Most people simply look at how much the value of their home has appreciated since they bought it, and compare it to what they paid. Let’s say someone bought a home for $500,000 a year earlier and their neighbor’s identical home just sold for $550,000. Simple math would suggest a potential 10% return in one year (a $50,000 profit on a $500,000 purchase). This, while straightforward, is not an accurate calculation for several reasons.

First, it is critical to factor in transaction costs on the sale of your home and deduct them from the gross sales price to see how much of the sales price you have left. These include what it might cost you to prepare the house for sale (painting, landscaping, staging in some cases, etc.), as well as real estate commissions and other transaction related costs. Immigration Woes, Part Two

Before I tell you anything else let me relate what happened to my wife and I at the border crossing in Eagle Pass, Texas.

We were married in Eagle Pass in January of 2003. My wife was on a Tourist Visa. We didn’t know that our marriage invalidated that Visa.

While crossing the border the agent questioned our relationship, and then with great glee informed us that she couldn’t cross.

When we were taken into the office we were separated and were not allowed to communicate further. My wife was made to sign documents which she didn’t understand and which we never received copies. Afterwards, she was taken out the back door and sent off, unescorted, across the bridge into Mexico. It was around 10:00 pm.

After they were finished with my wife they then turned their attention to me. It seems they were angry that I was upset about them denying my wife entry to the US.

They proceeded to search my truck and question my actions in Mexico. It took about an hour.

After they were finished making their displeasure known, I was able to go find my wife.

When I got to the back of the office, the officers told me they had sent my wife off to Mexico. One actually laughed about it!

Unfortunately my dealings with the Immigration Service didn’t get any better.

Our error was letting her go back to Mexico. If she had stayed in the US it would have been easier to process her paperwork.

What forms do you need? That depends on how you apply. I sent in an I-130 Petition for Alien Relative and a form I-129 Petition for Alien Fiancée along with the required fees.

The immigration service promptly lost it. Twice!

My second mistake was not following up rapidly. Send in the forms, and then follow up two or three weeks later. Keep copies of the forms and the money orders.

You’ll need to submit a copy of you marriage license, divorce decree if applicable, photos and a G-325A Biographic Information form. Don’t forget the fee. It goes up every year now!

The forms are relatively easy to fill out, but you may want to contact a lawyer to assist you.

Keep this in mind, it is easier to bring someone to the US and marry them here than it is to marry them first and then bring them to the US. It’s called a marriage visa and you have 90 days to get married or your partner will have to return to their country of origin.

Now doesn’t it seem strange that it is easier to bring someone you are not married to into the US than someone you have already married? Go figure!
